JUNIOR course (14-19 years of age)

The course comprises a series of classes (3 x 45 min.) which include drawing exercises with painting elements (paints) and printmaking exercises (basics of flat printing:

monotype, collograph, linocut). Participants in the course receive individual corrections and technical instruction allowing them to freely pursue their own artistic goals.


SELECTED TOPICS:

– drawing exercises; sketching as a synthetic form of writing

– linear drawing, chiaroscuro drawing (contrast, value)

– drawing with the use of perspective (reproduction of spatial forms from nature)

– Collage; ‘sculptural’ elements in drawing

– Illustrative drawing (narrative drawing, leitmotif)

– figure study, working with a live model

– painting exercises

– practical creation of a graphic matrix

– composition on a plane with the use of waste paper

Classes dedicated to young people aged 14-19.

Sunday 11:00 – 13:30

4 classes per month (10 hours in total) PLN 280 / month.


START OF WORK: 16.10.22. 

The Museum provides paper, sub-paintings, oil paints and specialised materials, including materials for printmaking (rollers, paints, stylus, linoleum).

Participants are required to provide their own basic art materials as indicated by the instructor.
