The exhibition, from the Center of Polish Sculpture in Orońsko, will be presented in the stylish surroundings of the museum.

Maleszewski’s sculptural realizations are inspired by the eternal riddle of being, in their titles we find references to cosmology, mathematics, physics and philosophy. Most of the sculptures in the presented collection were created in Orońsko.

ZBIGNIEW MALESZEWSKI, born in 1924, is an architect and sculptor by training, a student of Franciszek Strynkiewicz. He graduated from the Warsaw University of Technology and the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He was among the intellectual inspirers of the sculpture center in Oronsko. He creates sculptures exclusively in stone, such as marble, granite, syenite, basalt, etc. He has been exhibiting his works since 1954, receiving numerous medals and awards. Winner of national and international sculpture-architecture competitions. Author of the monument dedicated to General Casimir Pulaski in Denver (USA). He has traveled extensively in Europe, Asia, Africa and America as an artist.
