Bronislaw Chudzynski (1880- 1946), a design engineer, construction manager of the Southern Works in Stalowa Wola, and after the war general manager of the Stalowa Wola Steel Mill, is the author of remarkable watercolors depicting the industrial landscape of Stalowa Wola and the city.

The presented group of watercolors will be a fragment of a collection of works that Chudzynski sold to the Directorate of Stalowa Wola Steelworks shortly before his death. There were probably to be 50 of them. Until recently, there were 8 such works in the office of the technical director of the Steelworks. All of them are signed with the full name of the artist and, for the most part, also with the date of execution – from May to June 1946. They depict fragments of a housing estate, “an employee operating a lathe machine,” as well as industrial objects.
The watercolor paintings are extremely meticulously executed, betraying the technical training of their creator. They constitute an important document illustrating the urban and industrial development of Stalowa Wola in the post-war years.
The exhibition accompanies the 1st Forum of the American Polish community in Poland.
