It’s 25 years since the memorable, groundbreaking strike at the Stalowa Wola Steelworks, which ended with the largest spontaneous march of residents from outside the Steelworks to the MBKP Church in the city’s history. This strike to a great extent contributed to political changes in Poland in 1989. The Stalowa Wola Regional Board of Solidarity prepared, in cooperation with the Regional Museum in Stalowa Wola, an outdoor photographic exhibition, recalling those events. The place where it will be exhibited is the area where strike life was concentrated a quarter of a century ago – the square at the third gate of the HSW.
