Sciences ancient and recent. The interactive exhibition of the Jagiellonian University Museum

The exhibition “Past and Recent Sciences” is an exposition that introduces issues in the field of science in a non-standard, interactive way. It serves the purpose of presenting, but most importantly, self-discovery of various phenomena surrounding every person. It is sure to interest not only science history enthusiasts, but also schoolchildren and adult visitors. Its educational nature is evidenced not only by the opportunity to gain knowledge of selected branches of science, but also to present their historical context. The exhibition will feature models that the viewer operates independently, using prepared explanations. By performing simple experiments, he will be able to practically get acquainted with phenomena from selected fields of knowledge, such as wave motion, the history of computational instruments and time measurement. Thanks to the interactive presentation of the subject matter, the exhibition “Past and Recent Sciences”, in a very accessible way, combines the acquisition of knowledge with fun.
