ROZWADÓW, A CITY WITH A SOUL

Rozwadów is a place full of nostalgic charm. The spacious market evokes the former glory of the town, and the streets branching off from it have retained the scale and atmosphere of a pre-war locality, while the details adorning the buildings remind us of times gone by. It is a unique heritage that must be protected and documented. In the 21st century, more and more towns are undergoing far-reaching transformations that irreversibly change their character and spatial structure. We cannot allow Rozwadów to share the same fate.

From June 11 to 14, 2015, student workshops took place, during which young architects and designers inventoried and artistically captured the spaces of Rozwadów.

The main goal set for the students was to capture the spirit of the place, its unique local identity, the understanding and highlighting of which may be the right path to revitalization processes.

The exhibition will showcase the results of the students’ work – the best projects for transforming Rozwadów into a place more friendly to its residents.
