It consists of objects that were created especially for the occasion – these are the latest projects of ten Polish designers invited to participate in the project. The idea of traveling the entire exhibition and making it easy and inexpensive to move was incorporated into it from the very beginning: the artists, invited to participate in the project, were tasked with creating objects that fit into a relatively small box (a cube measuring 75 cm). The boxes, which are both packaging and pedestal for the works, somehow influenced the form of the projects, while revealing the creativity of Polish design.
This is how a collection of interesting projects of the latest design was created. Their authors are individual artists and design groups: Aze Design, Beton, Paweł Grobelny, Krystian Kwieciński, Lapolka, Malafor, Bartosz Mucha, Piotr Stolarski, Arek Wolski, Łukasz Wysoczyński.
The exhibition is organized jointly with the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, www.iam.pl
The exhibition is accompanied by a catalog.
During the opening of the exhibition, on July 3, MICHAŁ JELONEK, a Polish composer, violinist and session musician, will perform at 7 pm with his band. At the outdoor concert, the musicians will present M. Jelonek’s original works, as well as rock “reworkings” of classical music, among others.
