The exhibition consists of 50 photos from Tomasz Gudzowaty’s travels from 1997 to 2002 (including Mongolia, Kenya, Botswana, Ethiopia, China, the Philippines), as well as from his recent trips to Mongolia and Peru. In addition to previously unshown photographs, here are some well-known works, awarded at the World Press Photo: The First Lesson in Killing, Paradise Crossing and The Thousand-Mile Journey Begins with the First Step.
Tomasz Gudzowaty has gained international recognition in the field of nature and reportage photography. He has won a number of awards and prizes, including in several editions of the prestigious international World Press Photo competition. His photos have been repeatedly published in the press; he has also published several albums. This year he received the Award of Excellence in the most important photography competition overseas – Pictures of the Year International – for his reportage on Mongolian Kazakhs hunting with eagles.
