Moneids and whisperers. Sculpture by Stanisław Magdziak

Stanisław Magdziak, an artist based in Stalowa Wola, studied at the Faculty of Sculpture of the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków.

He obtained his diploma in 1975 in the atelier of Professor Marian Konieczny. He has had several individual exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions. His achievements include numerous sculptural works in Poland, such as the bust of Jan III Sobieski in Rozwadów, the bust of Tadeusz Kościuszko for the Museum in Połaniec, the monumental sculpture Bird in Gorzyce and bronze medals in Tarnobrzeg, Nisko and Stalowa Wola. Currently working as an assistant professor at the Institute of Fine Arts of the University of Rzeszów. Awards: at the International Biennale of Dante in Ravenna and at the exhibition ‘Polish Art’ in Paris. Works in collections at home and abroad (e.g. Netherlands, Germany, USA, Canada).
