MIX IT!
6.09-3.11.2019, new interactive exhibition at the Children’s Education Center at 12 Rozwadowska Street
The world we live in is a world of sounds. What are they? How are they created? Can we influence them? What influence do we have on the sounds we make ourselves? The exhibition on display will allow you to learn about the nature of sounds and, above all, experiment with them. You will find out that you can bite the sound, hear it without using your ears, you can also have fun with it.
Would you like to listen to the drum beat the rhythm of your heart, or maybe you want to shout to your heart’s content and test the power of your voice? At the new exhibition “Mix It!” we reveal the secrets of sound and show you what you can do with it! The exhibition consists of stands where everyone will be able to face the phenomenon of sound on their own. “Shout out” is a stand for measuring decibels – just stand in front of the microphone in a special tube and…. start shouting to your heart’s content. “Glue notes” – Here, in turn, we can step into the skin of a disco DJ and make music ourselves. At the “Heartbeat” stand, each experimenter’s heart will be connected to a pulse meter, which will beat out its rhythm on the drum, while with the help of special headphones and microphones at the “Echo” stand, it will be possible to see how our voice sounds in a cave, and how it sounds in a concert hall. At the “Organ bum bum” stand, visitors will be able to play…. with a clapperboard, and at “Bite the note” bite the sound.
