Exhibition of photographs

Unusual landscapes and daily life of the Caucasus people can be seen in a photography exhibition by Jack Wnuk.

The Caucasus is an extremely picturesque, but also difficult to access mountain range stretching between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea (territories of Russia, Georgia and Azerbaijan).

Jacek Wnuk graduated with a degree in geography from the Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin, he wrote his master’s thesis on “Geographical and geomorphological excursions in the Ukrainian Eastern Carpathians, in the Czarnohora range.” He also studied at the L. Schiller National Higher School of Film, Television and Theater in Lodz, at the Faculty of Cinematography (specialty Photography). As part of his diploma, he created the Photo Album “Eastern Carpathians”.

A passionate traveler, he has been traversing the Eastern Carpathian wilderness for many years, resulting in his diploma works, exhibitions and slide shows.

Organizer of many popular science expeditions to hard-to-reach areas of Ukraine, Romania, Belarus and Russia. He worked as a volunteer for the International Humanitarian Initiative in Chechnya. Currently he also runs interesting news portals: www.kaukaz.odwiedz.pl and www.karpatywschodnie.pl
