“Feel the Art” interactive sensory exhibition
1.05-30.06.2019 Interactive sensory exhibition “Feel the art” at the Julian Rydzkowski Historical and Ethnographic Museum in Chojnice
INTERACTIVE SENSORY EXHIBITION “FEEL ART” is designed to present folk art in an interesting and innovative way, which can not only be seen, but also felt and touched. The aim of the exhibition is to sensitize other senses than the sense of sight.
The exhibition is inspired by folk culture, especially folk ornamentation. The prepared exhibits simultaneously teach and entertain, exercise memory and concentration. The multimedia space is formed by eight interactive, technologically advanced stands. Each stand is provided with graphic instructions for action and descriptions that introduce various aspects of folk culture.
The simple principle of the exhibits, based on experiencing art through touch, encourages independent experimentation and exercise. Visitors can develop spatial imagination, sensitivity to touch, hearing and smell.
