Feel the Art
Feel the Art exhibition at the Mościce Art Center inTarnów.
Feel the Art – a sensory exhibition inspired by the folk culture of the Lasowiak people. The aim of the exhibition is to experience art through senses other than sight. Visitors have the opportunity to recognize shapes and perceive various external stimuli with their eyes closed. It develops spatial imagination, sensitivity to touch, hearing and smell.
The exhibition is inspired by the folk culture of the Lasowiak people. The purpose of the exhibition is to experience art through the senses, to sensitize senses other than the sense of sight. Visitors have the opportunity to move around the exhibition, recognize shapes and perceive various external stimuli with their eyes closed. They will develop spatial imagination, sensitivity to touch, hearing and smell.
The multimedia space consists of eight interactive high-tech exhibits. Each exhibit introduces you to a different world of experiences:
See the invisible – talk through moving dots
Brush the wind – feel the shapes the air draws
Touch the sound – feel it on your hand
Rewrite – awaken creative forces and create a collaborative work of art
Smell the color – associate the smell with the corresponding material texture
Feel the shadow – draw something you can’t see
Listen to movement – recognize sounds
Interactive game – test your memory and concentration
The intention of the exhibit is to integrate people with disabilities fully, so that they can perform all the games equally with other visitors.
The principle of all exhibits is based on the use of the sense of touch, and the messages are presented in Braille.
