Unusual exhibition, prepared on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the CID.

The exhibition was located in a specially adapted hall next to the School Complex No. 1, at 17 Hutnicza Street.

Great anniversary exhibition.

An unusual exhibition, prepared on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Central Industrial District. In a modern, attractive form, the exhibition shows the idea and main assumptions of CID and its most important achievements. It recalls the founders of the CID and the history of selected plants operating within its framework, with particular emphasis on manufacturing. The city-forming role of the CID is strongly emphasized. This part of the exhibition allows one to feel the characteristic atmosphere of urban life by recreating a street from the 1920s and 1930s.

The exhibition combines the traditional transmission of knowledge about the CID with the most modern exhibition methods. In the cinema room, a documentary film of the 20 years between the wars is presented, in the photoplasticon one can see a hundred photos and listen to the memories of CID builders. For educational purposes, an interactive panel has been prepared to help understand the economic phenomenon that was CID.
