
Alicja Czajkowska-Magdziak - Carousel of Memories

Alicja Czajkowska-Magdziak works in drawing and printmaking in addition to painting. For years she has cooperated with the Regional Museum in arranging exhibitions, this time she is presenting an author’s exhibition.
To date, the painter has shown her works in several solo exhibitions and more than a dozen group exhibitions. She is a winner of the “Przedwiośnia” award in Kielce and several times of the “Comparisons” BWA Sandomierz. She sits on the jury of the annual “Self-portrait” competition organized by the Stalowa Wola Museum. She runs a gallery-café “Tło”, which is an important point on the cultural map of Stalowa Wola.
Alicja Czajkowska-Magdziak was born in Zamość and currently lives in Stalowa Wola. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow (1981-88), earning a diploma in printmaking and design graphics from Associate Professor Roman Żygulski and Professor Witold Skulicz.
