This, the third volume of the “Regional Biographical Dictionary” is a continuation of the cyclic publication started in 2009. This publication presents characters associated with Stalowa Wola, Nisko and the surrounding area, people worth remembering, and often even requiring remembrance. The dictionary brings closer stories of people who, with their work or activity, influenced the fate of others, shaped the times in which they lived, left behind a legacy, today sometimes forgotten or overlooked. Some names we know very well, but there are also those whose uncovered stories are sure to impress readers.
Characters were selected to include people representing different areas of social, economic, public, professional life, as well as different historical periods: in this volume it is a span of several hundred years, from the turn of the 14th/15th century to the 21st.
The publication includes an index of the characters described in the previous parts.
