Marian Marek Drozdowski, In the circle of national heroes and their literary legends
A collection of thirty essays on significant figures in Polish history, from Tadeusz Kosciuszko to John Paul II.
The author presents in an interesting, original way not only heroes well known from history textbooks, but also forgotten but extremely interesting, such as Marceli Porowski, Kazimierz Leski or Jozef Garlinski. Much space was devoted by the author to figures of merit in the economic life of the Second Republic, including the construction of CID and Stalowa Wola. Thus, on the pages of the book appear Eugeniusz Kwiatkowski, Aleksander Litwinowicz, Marceli Siedlanowski, Bronisław Chudzyński, Wacław Szukiewicz, Jan Szypowski and others.
