The new post-conference publication Dolne Nadsanie. Problematics of identity and cultural heritage of the Dolnosany micro-region
The publication contains twelve papers delivered on September 29, 2022 at the Regional Museum in Stalowa Wola. Kotula Ethnographic Museum in Rzeszów, Folk Culture Museum in Kolbuszowa, Regional Museum in Stalowa Wola. The editor of the volume is Elżbieta Skromak.
The book aims to draw attention to the specificity of the cultural heritage of Lower Nadsanie (also known as the Lower Nadsanie micro-region or sub-region), a transitional and ambiguous area, an area encompassing villages located on both sides of the San River, in its lower reaches, in the area of the former Sandomierz Forest. It also pays tribute to the work of researcher Rev. Dr. Associate Professor Wilhelm Gaj-Piotrowski. His scientific achievements related to the history and folk culture of these lands, is an invaluable source of information for future generations of researchers and regionalists.
The publication was created in cooperation with DiG Publishing House, which was placed by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education on the list of publishing houses publishing peer-reviewed scientific monographs.
