Kossaks. What a success, what a popularity, a hail of honors

The publication, a large part of which consists of reproductions of the Kossaks’ works presented at the exhibition, including the Little Panorama of Raclawice and illustrations to Ogniem i mieczem by H. Sienkiewicz, also includes the history of this extremely talented family and family photographs. Starting with the doyen, Juliusz, through his brother Leon, son Wojciech and grandsons George and Karol. Juliusz Kossak’s granddaughters, very famous Polish writers and poets – Maria Pawlikowska-Jasnorzewska, Magdalena Samozwaniec, Zofia Kossak-Szcucka – also have their place here. The catalog includes a calendar of the artists’ lives and works. The whole in two languages: Polish and English.
