The second edition of the album contains pre-war, often previously unpublished photographs, showing industrialization in the security triangle, the construction of the CID, the functioning of the erected plants, as well as the style and customs of those years. The photographs are accompanied by brief commentaries, and the photographic part is preceded by a short sketch by Prof. Jerzy Golębiowski, an outstanding expert on the subject. It is complemented by concise biographical notes on the founders of the CID, as well as brief information on the CID plants and their subsequent fate. The whole book was published in Polish and English.
