This is the second volume of a monographic study edited by M. Kuraś. The publication contains works synthesizing the knowledge of prehistory and historical periods of the Sandomierska Basin, as well as studies summarizing the state of research. Presented publication is a collection of articles by many authors who treat topics from prehistory, through the Middle Ages, research on the history of World War I to the twentieth century.The first volume of Archaeology of the Sandomierz Basin was published by the Regional Museum in Stalowa Wola in 2005.
