Senior Day at Karpinski Gallery (3.10)
Friends from the heart, or Grandparents and Grandchildren. The older ones impart life wisdom, the younger ones show them how to navigate a changing world. Such a bond is developed through inspiring meetings and working together. The Alphonse Karpinski Painting Gallery provides an opportunity for them.
On Thursday, October 3, we offer grandmothers, grandfathers and grandchildren a guided tour of the temporary exhibition, followed by a joint workshop in the studio – making bookmarks. Using crayons, participants will paint a selected design in the art dèco style on shrink film. After which the works will be fixed by subjecting them to high temperatures. This personalized souvenir can be a beautiful gift for a loved one.
