
Regulations of participation in the school of drawing and painting “Karpinski”
conducted by the Regional Museum in Stalowa Wola, dated August 29, 2019
§ 1 General Provisions
1. The organizer of the “Karpiński” School of Drawing and Painting is the Regional Museum in Stalowa Wola.
2. Courses and classes at the “Karpiński” School of Drawing and Painting are held in Stalowa Wola at Rozwadowska Street 12 or at another location designated by the Organizer.
3. This Regulation specifies the organization and rules of the School of Drawing and Painting “Karpiński” managed by the Organizer, including the rights and responsibilities of Participants and the Organizer.
4. The Regulation applies to all Participants of the “Karpiński” School of Drawing and Painting.
5. The Regulation is available on the Organizer’s website, www.muzeum.stalowawola.pl, and in paper form at the Regional Museum in Stalowa Wola, Sandomierska Street 1.
6. Each Participant is required to read and accept the content of the Regulation before starting a course.
§ 2 Definitions
The terms used in the Regulation shall be understood as follows:
a) Regulation – this document.
b) Organizer – Regional Museum in Stalowa Wola, located at Sandomierska Street 1.
c) School – “Karpiński” School of Drawing and Painting, located at Rozwadowska Street 12.
d) Participants – individuals qualified by the Organizer to participate in courses or classes at the School.
e) Course – classes in drawing, painting, art history, and crafts as outlined by the Regulation.
f) Organizer’s Website – www.muzeum.stalowawola.pl.
g) Organizer’s Facebook Page – www.facebook.com/muzeumregionalne.stalowawola.
h) Organizer’s Instagram – www.instagram.com/muzeum.stalowawola/.
i) Organizer’s Email – pracownia@muzeum.stalowawola.pl.
§ 3 Purpose of the School
The School’s objectives include:
– Teaching art history;
– Enhancing Participants’ skills in drawing and painting per the program;
– Deepening Participants’ passion and interest in art.
2. The difficulty level of Courses/Classes is tailored to individual Participant skills.
3. Participants are required to join the Organizer’s Facebook group and page.
§ 4 Types of Courses/Classes
1. The Organizer offers Courses and Classes.
2. Details regarding available courses, schedules, scope, age groups, and prices will be posted on the Organizer’s Website.
§ 5 Enrollment
1. Enrollment is done via an online form on the Organizer’s Website or by email to pracownia@muzeum.stalowawola.pl.
2. Confirmation of participation is sent by email.
3. Submission of the application implies acceptance of the Regulation.
4. Enrollment is ongoing from September to June, with course schedules updated on the Website.
5. Participants may join courses during ongoing sessions; fees remain unchanged for late entry.
6. In case of withdrawal, refunds are based on the terms in § 7 and the price list.
7. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel courses before they start, with full refunds provided.
§ 6 Course Duration
1. Course durations are available on the Organizer’s Website and vary by topic.
2. A full annual course lasts ten months (September to June).
3. Classes canceled for unforeseen reasons (e.g., public holidays, instructor illness) will be rescheduled.
§ 7 Fees
1. Course fees are listed on the Organizer’s Website, including the number of sessions.
2. Fees are due 10 days before the course starts.
3. Unattended sessions do not carry over; missed sessions are non-refundable.
4. Payment options include annual, monthly, and per-session, with advance payments due 10 days before each term.
5. Installment payments may be arranged in specific cases by request to the Organizer.
6. Payments are made via bank transfer, with the transfer date counted as the payment date.
7. Unpaid fees prevent participation.
§ 8 Withdrawal from Course
1. Participants may withdraw from the course by email, with a one-month notice period.
§ 9 Conduct Regulations
1. All Participants must follow the Studio’s rules as outlined in this Regulation.
2. Studio rules include:
a) Cleanliness must be maintained, and food may only be consumed in designated areas.
b) Cell phone use and disruptive behavior are prohibited.
c) Punctuality is required.
d) The Organizer is not responsible for items left in the Studio or for Participants outside class hours.
3. The Organizer reserves the right to remove Participants for severe rule violations without a refund.
§ 10 Alfons Karpiński Painting Gallery
Participants are entitled to free access to the permanent exhibition at the Alfons Karpiński Gallery at Rozwadowska Street 12.
§ 11 Summer and Holiday Courses
1. The School organizes summer and winter holiday courses.
2. Holiday courses allow enrollment for any number of weeks, with refunds only for unused future weeks.

§ 12 Final Provisions
1. Participants grant the Organizer a free, indefinite license to works created during classes. License details are in Appendix 1.
2. Data protection details are in Appendix 2.
3. Image rights details are in Appendix 3.
4. Communication is via email or phone.
5. Civil Code provisions apply to matters not covered in this Regulation.

7. This Regulation is effective as of August 29, 2019, replacing previous versions.
Appendix 1 – License Scope
Participants grant the Organizer indefinite rights to use and reproduce works created during classes. This includes all usage fields listed in Article 50 of the Copyright Law, such as digital, printed, or other forms of distribution.
Appendix 2 – Data Protection
1. By enrolling, Participants provide personal data necessary for service provision.
2. The data is required for contract performance; refusal prevents service provision.
3. The Regional Museum in Stalowa Wola, Sandomierska Street 1, is the data controller.

5. Data is stored for the duration of the contract, with archival storage after its end for legal compliance.
