Sybil 2017
The Stalowa Wola museum has received an extremely prestigious award given in the 2017 Sibyl Museum Event of the Year competition.
The exhibition “Ring with an Eagle in the Crown” was awarded in the category of historical and archaeological exhibitions.
The exhibition “Ring with an eagle in the crown” told about objects and projects “patriotically engaged”, in which, as in a mirror, the history of Poland is reflected, and above all the feelings and actions of Poles for the homeland – the big and the small, in their own backyard and in the wide world. Starting from the history of Stalowa Wola, the exhibition presented “timely” content in a wide spectrum, non-stereotypically and without falling into pathos depicting history on several levels – country, people, things and concepts. The curator of the exhibition is Katarzyna Zarzycka.
