Sprig of Pine for 2023

Today we want to share some very good news with you!

Our colleague Elżbieta Skromak, curator and ethnologist at the Regional Museum in Stalowa Wola, has been awarded the City of Stalowa Wola’s Twig of Pines Award for 2023 in the digital culture category.

This is a great joy for the entire museum team.

Elu, we sincerely congratulate you! We would like to thank the Dionysius Garbacz Stalovianum Foundation and Ms. Joanna Rybak for preparing and submitting this museum project and its Author to the competition.

The project appreciated by the chapter of the Twig of the Pine is the mobile application “Stops of our history”. It is part of a larger project, which, in addition to the application, consists of eight stops on the territory of the oldest settlements of Stalowa Wola. Each of them tells the story of a particular place illustrated with archival photographs and audio recordings.
