Sprig of Pine 2014
On March 30, in the auditorium of the Municipal House of Culture, a gala was held for the presentation of the City of Stalowa Wola Award “Sprig of Pine” in the field of culture.
The award is given in three categories: literature, cultural event and special achievements in culture and the arts. In the literature category, two books published by our Museum were nominated: “Stalowa Wola.European modernist city” and ‘World War I on the San’.
The statuette was awarded for the book, edited by Aneta Garanta, “World War I on the San.” The book is the fruit of the cooperation of 12 authors: Aneta Garanta, Anna Szlazak, Waldemar Prarat, Adam Pankowski, Roman Wydra,Tomasz Sudol, Marek Florek, Slawomir Kulacz, Dominik Kurek, Joanna Rogóż, Aneta Jonaszek,Tomasz Lysiak. Congratulations to all of them!
