The National Holiday of the Third of May holds a special place in the calendar of Polish national holidays. It is not only an opportunity to celebrate together, but also a time to reflect on history and the values that shape Polish society. Once again, the Regional Museum and the Rozwadowski Dom Kultury “Sokół” invite you to an event under the slogan LET’S SAY THE THIRD MAY! to celebrate together this special day – the anniversary of the enactment of the Constitution of May 3.
The event at the Rozwadowski Market Square will begin with a reminder of the meaning and role of the May 3 Constitution. Then the participants will be invited to sing patriotic songs together with the participation of the Michl Palace, the string quartet of the Nadsanska Chamber Orchestra from Stalowa Wola, the “Stowart” Association and invited guests under the direction of. Edward Horoszko. We will sing together such songs as: Wojenko, wojenko or Rozkwitały budki białych róż. Each participant will receive a songbook.
There will also be a performance by the Majorettes “Różanek” from Public Elementary School No. 9 and from Rozwadowski Cultural Center “Sokół” with the Brass Band of the Municipal Cultural Center.
To help contemporaries understand the importance and significance of the Constitution in the history of Poland and the world, a verbal and musical program “Echoes of the Constitution” will be presented, performed by actors from the “Sokol” Theater, the vocal and instrumental ensemble from RDK “Sokol” and soloists from the Lasowiac Band of Mieczyslaw Paruch from MDK in Stalowa Wola. As every year, a polonaise will be danced by dancers from the Ignacy Wachowiak “Lasowiacy” Song and Dance Ensemble from the MDK, to which residents and spectators will also be invited.
The café garden will offer hot coffee, and family art workshops have been scheduled for younger participants.

14.00 – The May 3 Constitution – facts and circumstances
14.15 – Placing flowers at the monument to King Jan III Sobieski
14.20 – Joint singing of patriotic songs with participation of the Michl Palace Artistic Association “Stowart”, string quartet of the Nadsanska Chamber Orchestra from Stalowa Wola and invited guests. PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE SONGBOOKS.
15:15 – Performance of Majorettes “Różanek” from Public Elementary School No. 9 and from Rozwadowski Cultural Center “Sokol” with the Brass Band of the Municipal Cultural Center
15:30 – a verbal and musical program “Echoes of the Constitution” performed by actors from the “Sokol” Theater, a vocal and instrumental ensemble from RDK “Sokol” and soloists from the Lasowiak Band of Mieczyslaw Paruch from MDK in Stalowa Wola
16.30 – Polonez time to start! – joint dancing of the Old Polish Polonaise will bring together residents, spectators, actors of the show, dancers from the “Lasowiacy” Song and Dance Ensemble named after Ignacy Wachowiak from MDK
