This is an event that attracts both artists The title “Ballads about places” are images of the reality around us, but shown differently, passed through the prism of painterly sensitivity. The plein-air paintings are full of nostalgia and longing for the past. They show places close to us, familiar, but at the same time mysterious and undiscovered, because they hide stories and tales that we have to add ourselves. The ghosts of the past are visible mainly in the architectural themes; the element of vanitas is mixed here with the triumph of nature, which always wins over man.
The opening of the exhibition on Sunday, September 29 at 4 pm at the main office of the Regional Museum in Stalowa Wola.
The exhibition is available until November 11, 2024.
