STOP: PREHISTORY
Workshop
My first excavations
During the workshop you will turn into archaeologists for a while, learn about their tools and the specifics of their work. We will help you decipher what the exhibits on display could have been used for. You will learn how people lived in very distant times. In the art part we will make “reconstructions” of ancient vessels using the method of teardrops.

STOP AT A COTTAGE, DWELLING, PALACE
Lessons
Invitation to a country cottage
Few people remember any more what a chamber, a kneading-trough, a flouring-trough, a wreath-chest or a divan are. However, in old country cottages each of these things had its place.
We will spin a tale of village life that no longer exists at the permanent exhibition. Participants will learn about items indispensably associated with its life and traditions.
STOP ART
Lessons
Meeting with art
What is hidden in the word art? Who is the artist and where can we find his creations? What is the difference between so-called folk art and sacred art? The purpose of the meeting is to facilitate the youngest’s first contact with art. During a walk through the exhibition we will learn about various examples of it – from religious shrines to beautifully decorated elements of bourgeois interiors.
MUSIC STOP
Lessons
With music through the world
Music has accompanied man since the dawn of time. Archaeological excavations confirm the existence of sound tools as early as the Stone, Bronze and Iron Ages. The magical-cultural and utilitarian functions of instruments over time replaced the places of purely musical functions. A cross-cutting lesson on musical instruments with a focus on those characteristic of our region.
