Ancient sciences – Heraldry
Participants will gain basic knowledge of heraldry, learn about the structure of coats of arms (emblems, coat of arms colors, legends related to them). While learning about the coats of arms of Rozwadów and the families that ruled it, they will gain knowledge about the origins of the old city.

The magnates played a significant, though not always glorious role in the history of the Republic. Among this social stratum there were people who were ready to make great sacrifices for the fatherland, as well as those who used their privileged position for their own benefit. The secrets of the magnate palaces will allow you to discover activities that bring the history of the princely family closer. Presentation of the rise of the privileged strata in Poland and scenes from the life of the magnates, based on the history of the Lubomirski family. The role played in the history of Poland and the region, great works, unknown facts, unusual characters.
Museum workshops
Letters written with a pen
During the workshop, participants will get acquainted with the principles of ancient epistolography by learning Old Polish calligraphy and the rules of letter writing, ways of sealing letters and learning about the materials used for this purpose. This will be accompanied by exercises in writing with a nib and even a goose pen, creating letters and applying seals.

Artistic workshops
Painted with glass – Stained glass
We will learn what stained glass is. We will discuss the technique of making, recall those seen in the temple, created by Adam Stalony-Dobrzanski. Part of the class will be the screening of a film about the stained-glass windows and polychromes of the Fara and their author. Inspired by the artist’s works, we will make our own stained glass windows, using gel paints.

Rozwadów Old Town Game
This is a proposal of active discovery of the history of Rozwadów – the oldest district of Stalowa Wola. Specially developed card with questions, riddles and a plan will help to find historically important objects, places where time has long stopped. Two types of questions of varying degrees of difficulty will enable everyone to test their knowledge, while those who demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the subject or the ability to obtain additional information may be awarded the title of SuperGracza. (Suggestion intended for independent play, free cards available for download at the Museum’s cash desk)

From rabbis to tzaddikim – Jews in Poland and Rozwadów
Despite the centuries-old proximity of the Christian and Jewish populations on Polish soil and the sharing of historical fates, knowledge of the two cultures’ customs, connections and differences needs to be supplemented. The classes can be an important step in this direction. The classes are accompanied by a multimedia presentation or optional Hebrew writing workshops.

In the world of rabbis and tzaddikim – in the footsteps of Rozwadów Jews
During the tour we will walk through the streets of Rozwadów, we will find places and buildings related to its former Jewish inhabitants. We will learn what the Jewish community did for a living, what customs prevailed, what relations they had with their Christian neighbors. The tour complements the lessons at the exposition.

– It is possible to adapt the theme of the lesson to the interests of the recipient or the school program.
– We are open and flexible, the thematic and content range of lessons will be adapted to your requirements.

– Classes can be held: from Monday to Friday during the opening hours of the Museum.
– The duration of the meetings is not rigidly defined: from 60 to 90 minutes.

– The guardian is required to stay with the group for the entire duration of the lesson!

– We do not conduct classes with groups that have not been arranged.
