Bread in the Polish tradition is not only one of the basic foodstuffs, but also an important symbol of abundance and prosperity. From the earliest times in the Polish lands, it was respected and attributed great importance, as evidenced by its display during solemn holiday celebrations, as well as in family and gathering events.
How to make sourdough? How to bake bread? It would seem that this is an arch-difficult task. Nothing could be further from the truth! It’s great entertainment for the whole family. Much satisfaction, learning and fun will come from watching the bubbling monster in the jars, kneading the dough and eating your own baked goods.
