Already in May, the Stalowa Wola Regional Museum is carrying out a unique project under the slogan “Challenges and Opportunities – for 20 years with European Funds”, which is part of this year’s European Funds Open Days. The event is aimed at making residents aware of how many important projects have been implemented in our area and how Stalowa Wola has changed thanks to European Funds. It will allow residents to learn more about the variety of activities carried out with the help of grants. A number of interesting proposals have been prepared for this occasion, including for the youngest. Among the planned activities are experiments, games, workshops, a trip and musical accents.
All activities will take place at the COP Museum in Stalowa Wola. In addition to visiting the exhibitions, a workshop “Chemistry from the kitchen or chemistry in the kitchen?” is planned. – chemical experiments for everyone. This is an opportunity to learn how to create safe cleaning products, how to use chemicals and how to produce effective and ecological washing and rinsing liquids. Another proposal is COPQuiz, which is an integration game involving solving tasks in individual exhibition zones, while learning about outstanding Polish inventors. These are also questions on topics related to the European Union. Among the activities designed for the youngest, developing computer skills, we have prepared workshops “Robot handling and obstacle course”, consisting of coding/programming with robots, educational mat, makey-makey tiles , microbit tiles , micro maquen and Scottie go edu sets . All those who are interested are also invited to the workshop Do it! This will be the creation of T-shirts with “industrial” elements, including the logo of the European Funds.
An undoubted attraction of the event will be a tour along the streets of Stalowa Wola with history in the background. The route will lead through specific objects renovated with the help of the Funds, thanks to which the accessibility of these places and their tourist attractiveness has improved. The route will be set so that participants will have the opportunity to notice the transformations made possible by the European Funds.
At the end of the event, we invite you to listen to Beata Jędrusik ‘s recital entitled. “Just ask me to dance” with the participation of a string quartet of the Nadsanska Chamber Orchestra from Stalowa Wola and the STOWART Artistic Association under the artistic direction of Edward Horoszko. This musical-sentimental journey will be based on songs from the repertoire of the biggest stars of the Polish stage. Familiar hits will return and new interpretations will shine through.
The task is financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the Regional Operational Program of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship 2014-2020.
