The Machines of Leonardo da Vinci

This name is known to everyone. But does everyone know how many technical solutions we use today were born in the mind of this brilliant man more than five centuries ago? Leonardo da Vinci, because, after all, we are talking about him, belongs to the pantheon of world art. He is a true “Renaissance man” with many talents and a keen observer of the surrounding world, a visionary who was centuries ahead of his time.

A helicopter, a car, a ball bearing, a parachute or a tank are just some of the vast number of concepts da Vinci created. The exhibition presents only selected realizations, which are faithfully reproduced models, made by skilled Italian craftsmen based on Leonardo’s original sketches and designs. In addition to the eponymous machines, it will be possible to get acquainted with the famous artist’s paintings, as the exhibition presents reproductions of his great works. Among them the most famous ones: Mona Lisa and Lady with an Ermine.

The exhibition is an excellent opportunity to meet the man considered one of the most talented people in history, an outstanding Italian painter, inventor, sculptor, anatomist and philosopher. The exhibition will feature 24 reconstructed Leonardo’s inventions and reproductions of 18 of his paintings. So we invite you to an encounter with great art, the spirit of the Renaissance and the genius of the man.

The exhibition has a dynamic, educational and modern character. Among the models on display are interactive works that engage the viewer in action. It is accompanied by a rich educational program for all types of schools and kindergartens.
