From
2002 the Regional Museum in Stalowa Wola
prepared a competition for students of artistic schools and academies
“Self-portrait” inspired by output of any great master. In first edition it was
famous Polish painter Jacek Maczewski, a year later – one of the greatest
woman-painter, Olga Boznańska, in 2004 -Albrecht Dürer. The third edition of the competition was international
one. In 2005 every participant will be able to select his favourite painter as
inspiration for himself. There are known Polish modern artist in the jury of competition
every year.
